DINING
THE LITTLE DINING ROOM
A charming and more intimate dining room for up to 16 people, it's interchangeably cosy or celebratory for breakfast, lunch or supper. It still has its housekeeper's door with flap-down serving shelf and its 1930s parquet floor, and looks out onto the lawns at the front of the house and towards the downs.
THE GREAT HALL
The medieval Great Hall at the heart of the house is perhaps the most impressive room, especially when the fire is roaring in its giant inglenook fireplace. There's seating for 16 at the long table for anything from casual lunch to a banquet.
OUTDOOR DINING
Choose between the smaller outdoor table for 8 by the 18th-century water trough or the long line of tables ready to seat 16 in the courtyard, or have a quiet cup of coffee with one or two others tucked away on the hot-tub terrace.
